Oprah Magazine Thinks Sarabeth's is 'Simply the Best'

oprah-cover-blogCongrats to our client, Sarabeth’s Kitchen, whose delicious food products are featured in the current issue of O, The Oprah Magazine as one of “Oprah’s All-Time Favorite Gifts”!

About Sarabeth’s Legendary Spreadable Fruits, Oprah herself said, “The only jams I have in my house are Sarabeth’s. I love every flavor she makes, but the orange-apricot marmalade is the one I reach for first.”

Incredible, right? We think so, too!

To celebrate this special recognition, we created an e-mail campaign for Sarabeth’s that includes a 10% discount on all purchases of $50 or more when coupon code “OPRAH08″ is entered at checkout. Take a look:

The Best Day to Send Your E-mails? It’s All Relative

emailstatsapril2008Statistics compiled from all users of AWeber Communications’ automated e-mail marketing system this past April reveal Thursdays as the optimum day of the week for e-mail open rates.

And here you thought Tuesdays or Wednesdays were the most promising.

So much for believing everything you read, huh?

That’s why you shouldn’t believe this either.

The thing with e-mail marketing is that it’s all relative. There is no “best” day and time. Delve deeper into AWeber’s study and you’ll see why.

Litmus Puts Its 'Fingerprint' on E-mail Client Stats

fingerprint1Whoa! Color us impressed.

A new service from Litmus’ Fingerprint e-mail analysis system offers accurate, up-to-date statistics on e-mail client usage.

Until now, the Internet marketing industry had to rely solely on suspicion when it came to who was using what e-mail client, leaving us to test our e-mails blindly. Even then it was anybody’s guess how it’d turn out on the other end if recipients were using an e-mail client not on our radar. At the very least, the process made us feel better.

This new service, however – well, it can tell you exactly what e-mail clients your customers are using. By embedding a single line of HTML code in your e-mail newsletter template, Fingerprint will deliver near-real-time statistics with its patent pending technology.

Your head is spinning, right? Ours, too.

VoxOx Wants to Be the Center of Your Attention

voxoxpic1It was bound to happen – the convergence of most methods of communication into one all-encompassing service.

Built by VoIP company TelCentris, VoxOx (available in beta version) brings seven methods of interpersonal contact – phone calls with fax capability, video conferencing, IM, text messaging, social networking, e-mail, and file sharing – together to create the last portal ever needed (it’s totally possible!) to communicate over the Internet.

As with all betas, there will be kinks to work out, but the prospect of VoxOx replacing all other applications (think about it – one window containing everything you need to conduct your personal and professional correspondences) is promising.

Author David Chartier, staff writer for the gaming site Ars Technica, has written this glowing review of VoxOx. Check it out. When you’re done, let us (and him) know what you think about this exciting new tech development.
